ok for those of you that know the kodak dvc325 webcam freezes your system if you have a dual processeor, now someone has kinda found a solution but it dosent let me install it still it only detects the kodak driver, can anyone figure this out?
After a message from Sebastian (many thanks to you!), I begin to search other cameras with the same hardware (remember that Kodak it?s only a re-marker of PC Digital Cameras). First of all, in the driver files are one, called VDQSDLL.DLL. Inside this file one string appear: ?ViewQuest USB PC Camera?. For this reason, I have download the driver for ViewQuest?s M318b camera (technical characteristics identical to DVC-325). Obviously, this file are also contained inside the package. After change my computer to run in ?uniprocessor ACPI mode?, I installed this driver from ViewQuest. Surprisingly the driver works great with my camera (the software are not very good, but the driver it?s a little more useful than Kodak).

THE SOLUTION (finally):
1. Download Windows 2000 drivers for the Intel CS330 Camera (Intel Deluxe PC camera) [direct URL: http://appsr.intel.com/scripts-df/download.asp?url=/1880/eng/CS330-2000.EXE]
2. Unpack .EXE file with WinZIP to a temporary directory.
3. Edit ICAM3USB.INF with notepad and change ALL appearances of ?PID_0401? to ?PID_0402?.
4. Un-install all previous drivers for your camera (Control Panel/Un-install hardware, and select ?un-install device? and check ?Show hidden devices?).
5. Plug your camera in the USB port.
6. In the wizard for install the driver select manual install and ?have a disk? inside ?image devices? and go to your temporal directory with Intel drivers?
